About Nicole
Nicole became a health and wellness coach because she believes no one should have to navigate their hardest health moments without the right support. She has lived that truth from every angle.
Health challenges have not been abstract for Nicole. They have been her daily life, and her education. For as long as she can remember, she has been a student of biology, physical health, and human wellness, driven by a deep need to understand what the body and mind are capable of, and what they need to thrive. Every challenge her family faced became an opportunity to learn more, advocate harder, and build a deeper toolkit for helping the people she loves find their way back to themselves.
She supported her husband through a major heart attack and ongoing digestive challenges, and years later through a late Autism diagnosis that reframed much of their shared history.
She has navigated her sons' ADHD and anxiety, learning alongside them what they need to thrive.
She has managed her own anxiety, her own ADHD diagnosis, and the disorienting physical and cognitive effects of menopause.
When her stepson came out as transgender at 17. He was struggling with anorexia, self-harm, severe body dysmorphia, anxiety, and depression, and Nicole stepped in fully, personally coordinating his care team and supporting him through his transition.
She has also walked alongside her aging parents through arthritis, knee replacements, vagal nerve paralysis, and nervous system dysregulation.
Nicole has sat with all of it, up close, for over 20 years. She knows what it looks like when people are struggling without the right support, and she knows what changes when they finally get it. That is what drives her work. She has dedicated her practice to helping every person feel in control of their own wellbeing.
Prior to opening Torgersen Holistic Wellness, LLC as her full time profession, Nicole was a senior leader in Tech for over 25 years. As a working mom in a male-dominated industry, she balanced driving impact at work while also raising a family and serving as her household's primary breadwinner. Her passion for helping the people on her team and within the organization around her fueled her to find creative ways to support others in any way possible, lead to her opening her practice on the side, and ultimately retire from Tech to put all of her time into her own certification to build the Torgersen Holistic Wellness, LLC practice.
