A beginner-friendly practice, and therapeutic in nature, Yin Yoga requires little movement or effort, focusing on easing soreness throughout the body and relaxing the mental state.

Osteopenia and Osteoporosis: Yin poses can help stress-load bones and connective tissue to stimulate osteoblast activity, but they do not reverse bone density loss.
Osteoarthritis and Joint Stiffness: Holding passive poses at the edge of your range of motion improves joint lubrication and increases circulation to the fascia and ligaments.
Chronic Stress and Anxiety: The long, static nature of Yin encourages nervous system regulation, helping to reduce cortisol levels which can otherwise accelerate bone and tissue degradation.
Fibromyalgia and Myofascial Pain: Gentle traction and prolonged holds gently release tension in the deep connective tissues throughout the body.
